While in the PbS QDs/Bi2O2Se hybrid photodetector, when PbS quantum dots, acting as Electrical power donors, are photoexcited to an energized condition, they're able to transfer their Vitality non-radiatively to Bi2O2Se via dipole–dipole interactions. This results in electrons from the valence band of Bi2O2Se to transition to the conduction band.
